This policy explains what personal information Fodavin Technologies ("we", "us", "our") collects through fodavin.in, why we collect it and what we do with it. Fodavin Technologies is based at Sree Saraswathi Thyagaraja College (STC), Palani Road, Thippampatti, Pollachi, Tamil Nadu 642110.
Information we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us:
- Contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the topic you pick, your message, and the page you sent it from.
- Newsletter form: your email address.
- Calls, WhatsApp and email: whatever you share with us when you contact us directly.
We do not ask for payment card details on this website, and the website does not run advertising trackers. We use cookie-free visitor statistics, explained below.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare quotes.
- To deliver the services, courses or internships you sign up for.
- To send our newsletter, if you subscribed. You can ask to be removed at any time.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
Where it is stored
Form messages are saved in a private Google Sheet through Google Apps Script, and a copy is emailed to our team. Only Fodavin staff can open them. Google processes this data on our behalf under Google's privacy policy.
Hosting and visitor statistics
This website is hosted on Cloudflare, which handles your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the site is used. It does not set cookies or build a profile of you; it counts page views and records the page visited, the site you came from, your browser and device type, your country and how fast the page loaded. We only see these figures as totals. Cloudflare processes this data under Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Third-party content
Some pages show a Google Maps view of our office. The map loads only when you scroll to it or tap it, and Google may then set its own cookies. Reviewer photos on our review sections load from Google. Links to WhatsApp, Instagram, LinkedIn and our clients' websites take you to sites with their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to answer you and to keep normal business records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or unsubscribe from the newsletter. Email contact@fodavin.in and we will act on it.
Students under 18
If you are under 18 and interested in a course or internship, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us with you.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
